LONDON - Chris Black has joined the US sales team of UK-based Curious Software, maker of the gFX and Curious World Maps graphics creation and manipulation software packages.
Black, a Curious World Maps user, will serve as sales and support engineer for the Americas, and brings with him years of experience in the broadcast industry. Most recently, he was art director at KOIN TV in Portland, OR.
"I have been a user of Curious Software's Curious World Maps for two years in two different markets and have been impressed with, not only the ease and depth of the software, but with the support and professionalism of those behind it," says Black.
Curious Software's president Halid Hatic, adds: " With the continued growth in both our customer base and our product offerings, Chris will be pivotal in supporting the US-based sales organization. In particular, Chris will play the primary role in providing direct pre-sales and post-sales support for both Curious World Maps and Curious gFx across the US."
