NVIDIA UNVEILS QUADRO FX 3000

SANTA CLARA, CA - Nvidia's (www.nvidia.com) Quadro FX 3000 will soon be available within IBM's IntelliStation MPro workstation and from HP via its Leadership Graphics Program. The Nvidia Quadro FX 3000G will be available with HP's xw6000 and xw8000 workstations and with HP's scalable visualization technology in fall 2003, as well as from IBM by special order.

The Quadro FX 3000 includes 27.2GB/sec. memory bandwidth and drives large texture performance and high-resolution as well as full-scene anti-aliasing. There's also a single system powerwall so users can digitally specify overlap and blend two projected images. And the 256MB graphics memory powers 3840-by-2400 displays.

The Quadro FX 3000G includes all Nvidia Quadro FX 3000 features plus Framelock, which allows links to multiple systems in a cluster to scale power to problem size for life-sized visualization, and Genlock, which enables synchronization with standard signal formats and house-sync signals.
