BOXX SHIPS DUAL AMD OPTERON PROCESSOR WORKSTATIONS

AUSTIN, TX - Digital content creation system developer Boxx Technologies (www.boxxtech.com) is now shipping its 3DBoxx M4 workstations featuring dual AMD Opteron 240, 242 and 244 processors. Designed for Microsoft Windows or Linux, 3DBoxx M4 workstations are enhanced with Nvidia Quadro architecture and optimized for modeling and rendering 3D content and animation.

"Our early collaborative efforts with a number of motherboard manufacturers have given us a jump start on the competition," explains Ed Caracappa, director of sales and marketing for Boxx.

The systems can be used with popular software programs that include Alias|Wavefront Maya, Discreet 3DS Max, Softimage|XSI, NewTek LightWave 3D and Side Effects Houdini.
