EDITOR KIM BICA FINDS LOST PLANET

SANTA MONICA - Editorial company Lost Planet (www.lostplanet.com) has hired editor Kim Bica. Bica has worked on numerous high-profile commercials, independent features, documentaries, interactive games, music videos and film trailers. She will be working out of the studio's Los Angeles and New York locations cutting on Avid Media Composer.

Prior to joining Lost Planet, Bica was an editor at Spotwelders where she collaborated with such notable directors as Errol Morris, Chris Cunningham, Robert Logeval, Tim Godsall and Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu. Her clients included Levi's, Southern Comfort, Saturn and HBO, as well as ad agencies Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Arnold St. Louis, GSD&M and TBWA\Chiat\Day.

From 1996 - 2001, Bica was at FilmCore Editorial in San Francisco and worked on commercials for Nike, Adidas, Supercuts and Robertson Stevens. She began her career at Red Sky Films in San Francisco from 1990 - 1996 after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in film.

Bica garnered a 1996 Emmy for Editor of an ESPN NCAA Basketball campaign featuring Robert Goulet and a 1997 Clio for Sound Designer/Editor of the Nike Asia commercial "Bowen Road.
