MAD.HOUSE SIGNS PETER MOSTERT

NEW YORK - Avid editor Peter Mostert has joined editorial/graphics/audio studio Mad.House (www.madhousenyc.com). Mostert came to New York earlier this year after spending 12 years at Cut Aways in Johannesburg, South Africa. There he served as both editor and partner, working with commercial, documentary, short film and music video clients.

He won South Africa's Loerie Craft Award for Best Editor every year from 1990 to 1999. After coming to the US, Mostert joined up with Lost Planet. Since joining Mad.House he's completed work on projects for Ben Gay and Remington using an Avid Media Composer 9000.

"I came to Mad.House because of the warm and cohesive atmosphere and attitude," says Mostert. "The capabilities of the facility were also intriguing. I have effects, design, finishing and audio departments right at my fingertips, with talented individuals who provide a continuing creative dialogue. We also have great back-up support in production and an avid search for new business. This all feeds my need to grow in this ever-changing industry of new ideas and techniques providing a place to experiment these thoughts and turn them into solutions."
