BOXX INTROS CINEBOXX DIGITAL INTERMEDIARY SYSTEM

AUSTIN, TX - Boxx Technologies (www.boxxtech.com) has introduced CineBoxx , a new digital intermediary tool powered by Intel Xeon processors. CineBoxx combines the functionality of a DDR supporting 2K film, HD and SD sequential image review with the features of a nonlinear editor and ingestion station.

CineBoxx allows users to import rendered images directly to the networked storage and review them instantly, eliminating the need for file conversion or importing into a proprietary framestore. The straightforward interface allows users to simply grab images and pull them to the timeline for review.

According to Boxx's Todd Bryant, the company will offer two versions of CineBoxx, one designed for 10-bit review-only purposes ($35K) and one with full HD I/O ($75K). As part of a special NAB promotion, Boxx is offering a 15 percent price reduction on CineBoxx until April 30th. The offer is only good on purchases directly from Boxx.
