DZP LAUNCHES OFFERING CONSULTING THROUGH EXECUTION

DZP's Diecks and Barker.

NEW YORK - Brian Diecks, former creative director/owner of The Diecks Group, and John Barker, former EVP of Grey Worldwide and president of Zeitgeist Marketing, together have launched DZP Marketing Communications (www.dzpusa.com), a boutique agency capable of full-service execution. With offices in New York and LA, the company has developed five internal business units in order to serve clients in a multidisciplinary fashion. DZP will offer design, interactive, advertising, film and consulting services.

"Our company fills a gap that's developed in the marketplace," explains Barker. "We've brought together some extraordinary talent in all of the relevant disciplines, from brand strategy through copy, print, interactive, and motion graphics. One-stop. Top shelf. And very collaborative."

Diecks and Barker both bring expertise in design concepts, including broadcast, visual effects, and 3D animation. Additionally, they will service clients looking to expand in the film market with such services as concept, development, and production of corporate films and video presentations.

"In DZP, I saw an opportunity to take it to the next level for clients," comments Diecks. "It's not just about broadcast design anymore. It's about creating a dynamic identity that works across multiple applications and truly drives the brand."

DZP's list of clients includes TNT, Fox Cable Networks, McCann Erickson/Detroit and UNICEF.
