LAS VEGAS - Woodland Hills, CA's Gefen ( is showing a number of tools designed for integrating HDMI, DVI and HD-SDI devices at this year’s NAB show in Las Vegas. The company has its HDMI and HD-SDI Scalers on display, which allow studios to use consumer displays for production work and testing.

The company’s HDMI to HD-SDI Scaler enables HDMI sources to connect directly to HD-SDI displays and supports all standard and high definition resolutions up to 1080p. The HD-SDI to HDMI Scaler enables HD-SDI sources to connect directly to HDMI displays and also supports all HD resolutions up to 1080p and multiple broadcast formats.

Gefen’s DVI FM Extender features tiny sender and receiver modules that enable the delivery of high definition DVI video up to 600 meters over a single, multimode fiber optics cable.  Resolutions are supported up to 1920x1200.

The 4x4 DVI KVM Matrix offers users an easy way to connect four computers to four displays and switch between them at will.

And Gefen’s HDMI to DVI and DVI to HDMI Adapters provide full support for digital audio signals, enabling the easy adaptation of HDMI audio and video to DVI and vice versa.
