OUTSIDE POSTS OLD NAVY'S 'PATTERN PLAY'

NEW YORK – The creative team at Outside (www.outsideedit.com) recently handled editorial, graphics and color for Old Navy’s new Spring '08 re-launch campaign. Conceived by Old Navy Marketing in San Francisco and Chandelier Creative in New York, the campaign consists of four “episodes” ranging in length from two to three minutes. Urban Explorer, Pattern Play, Road Trip and Neon Nights were also cut down to :60 and :30 lengths.

The second spot in the campaign - Pattern Play – recently broke and was edited by Outside’s Jeff Ferruzzo using Apple’s Final Cut Pro application. Jaime Lamond provided graphics treatment and Alex Bickel performed color work. Ferruzzo edited three of the commercials, with Neil Gust handling Road Trip.

The spots were shot in HD in Buenos Aires using the Red digital cinema camera. Supply and Demand in LA and Film Planet in Argentina produced the project.

Eric Thompson at Berwyn Audio in NYC handled post audio. Media Creature provided the music.
