JEFF KINDER TO HEAD MAGICK LANTERN'S NEW AUDIO DIVISION

ATLANTA – Full service post house Magick Lantern (www.magicklantern.com) recently welcomed Jeff Kinder as sound designer/composer and director of its new audio department. Kinder is an experienced sound designer, as well as an accomplished musician, with a background in entertainment, advertising, and broadcast sound design. He also brings with him experience in music scoring for both film and television.

Kinder comes to Magick Lantern from his own studio, KinderWorks, where he scored projects for Larry King Live, performed sound design for TNT, mixed documentaries and television shows for Turner Classic Movies and NFL Films, and worked on a weekly NASCAR reality TV series. He has also worked on corporate projects for Lucent Technologies and WebMD.

Recently, Kinder completed audio post on Coca-Cola's Project Greenlight: Refreshing Filmmakers Award, creating a 5.1 surround mix for theatrical release to over 23,000 US cinemas. He is also a registered Microsoft Xbox content creator.

He is working in Magick's new Digidesign Pro Tools|HD suite.
