OUTSIDE EDITORIAL EXPANDS SERVICES WITH NEW FLAME/INFERNO ARTIST

NEW YORK - Outside Editorial (www.outsideedit.com) has expanded its services into high-end visual effects with the recent signing of Inferno/Flame artist Steve Mottershead. Hailing from Canada, Mottershead spent the past five years at VFX house Axis in Toronto, where he served as Inferno/Flame artist, online editor, compositor and VFX supervisor. While there, he worked on numerous effects-driven spots for Coca-Cola, Nike, Microsoft Xbox, Anheuser Busch, Lexus, Pepsi, Bud Light, FedEx and Adidas.

Mottershead has also directed a steady stream of music videos and continues his ongoing freelance relationship with Blink Pictures/Toronto. Since joining Outside, he has worked on a challenging cross-platform campaign for the 2007 Jaguar XK entitled Gorgeous. The package called for him to perform extensive color correction and image manipulation. Mottershead did the final color correction in Outside’s Flame suite.
