BERGEN, NORWAY - At NAB, Vizrt (www.vizrt.com) debuted Version 2.2 of Viz|Trio, its cost-effective, realtime 3D character generator and graphics system. Viz|Trio 2.2 features a new, easy-to-use internal compositing tool and integration with several major nonlinear editing systems while maintaining the same features as the original Viz|Trio, including its "Look Ahead" transition logic and support for all HD formats.
The new compositing tool enables fast, template-based design recreation, with pre-defined graphic elements and animation readily available. The collection of elements are typical generic broadcast design elements provided for easy amendment and channel branding.
In addition to the new internal compositing tool, Viz|Trio's NLE plug-ins option now support Pinnacle's Liquid Edition and Liquid Blue editing software, as well as Avid's editing software using AVX (Avid Visual Extensions). Version 2.2, like the original, features Vizrt's "Look Ahead" transition logic, providing "intelligent" graphics for workflow efficiency during production. Users can stack arbitrary pages and automatically create seamless transitions, using just one video output channel.
