MUSIC PRODUCER IAN JEFFREYS JOINS FLUID MUSIC

NEW YORK - Ian Jeffreys has joined Fluid (www.fluidny.com), the New York-based original music, sound design and visual effects studio, as a music producer. Jeffreys comes to Fluid after four years of running his own music production and publishing company, Cilantro Music in New York City. During that time he wrote and co-produced his debut pop album, Gemini, as well as worked closely with film composer Stephen Endelman through his Garrison, NY-based Stork Farm Productions on music for the films De-Lovely, The Blue Butterfly and Evelyn.

Earlier in his career, Jeffreys spent over two years working for Universal Classics Group in New York. He joined the company as label coordinator for ECM Records and later became the digital media coordinator for iClassics.com, Universal’s classical music Web site.

In his new post, Jeffreys will work within the original music scoring/sound design division of the company. In his brief time with the studio, he has already contributed to projects for Cingular, Sony, Mountain Dew, Longhorn Steakhouse and Bounty.
