STEWART SOUND COMPLETES INDIE FILMS

SANTA ANA, CA - Stewart Sound (www.stewartsound.com) recently completed 5.1 surround mixing on two feature films – The Return and Things You Don’t Tell. The 5,000-square-foot facility features with two Digidesign Pro Tools/Dolby mix rooms and one 5.1 room featuring Pro Tools|HD partnered with a Control 24 console.

For The Return, a Paradise Road Production, mixer Jose Manuel Garcia created a new surround mix that was then taken to Wilshire Stages for Dolby SR encoding. Bob Stewart oversaw the Dolby Optical encoding and provided custom music arrangements.

For Dynamite Pictures’ Things You Don’t Tell, the studio completed stereo and surround mixing, as well as sound design, Foley and ADR recording.

In related news, the studio is now offering HDCAM, HDCAM SR, and Digital Betacam video mastering with Dolby E surround mixing and layback.
