AVID HOSTING WEB SHOWCASES

TEWKSBURY, MA - Avid is giving filmmakers, broadcasters, recording engineers, game developers, effects artists, and other media professionals a number of opportunities to check out the company’s products and services virtually through a series of live and archived Webcasts.

On Wednesday, June 21st, Avid is hosting a Webcast titled, “Avid Media Composer: the best editor on the planet.” The event will take place at 1:00pm and will be hosted by Tim Wilson, senior product marketing manager at the company, who will explores new features and technology, including motion tracking, full-screen play over DVI, and Avid DNxHD 36 for offline HD. The demo will be presented on both Mac OS X (Tiger) and Windows XP systems, and will conclude with a Q&A session.
