NEW YORK - Full service post house EENYC (www.eenyc.com) recently created Lifetime Television’s on-air launch campaign for the new show Cheerleader Nation. The one-hour reality series follows members and hopefuls of Lexington Kentucky’s Dunbar High School champion cheerleading squad on their quest for a third straight national title. The show is rife with adolescent drama, physical hardship and parental demands for perfection.
Supervising project editor Brian Donnelly and other EENYC staff members - including senior Avid editor Amanda Hughes, and Avid editor Kathleen Poole - logged over 300 hours of edit time on the campaign.
“The challenge has been creating numerous high impact spots that highlight the different dramatic elements of the show while maintaining an overall constant marketing approach,” Donnelly explains.
The project made use of Editional Effects’ full service offerings, as key audio engineer Sean Barry, along with senior engineer/audio division co-owner Roy Harter, created the complete sound design package for the campaign, including Foley, voiceover records and full mixes.
Lifetime Television credits include creative director Trez Thomas and
producers Vicky Stewart, Shea Pepper and Michelle Scanlon.
Cheerleader Nation premiered Sunday, March 12th at 10:00 pm on Lifetime.
