LOS ANGELES – Einar of Union Editorial (www.unioneditorial.com) recently completed cutting a new Cadillac campaign out of agency Leo Burnett. The “Razor Sharp” package includes 12 commercials - produced by MJZ and directed by Sean Thonson – all of which were shot on a set in Long Beach, CA, over a 12-day period.

The spots promote Cadillac’s CTS model, which, as one of the commercial’s voiceovers notes, features “cutting-edge design with razor-sharp styling.”
Four of the commercials had to be posted and ready to air within five days of the initial shoot. Einar and his assistant therefore attended the shoot, bringing along two Avid Xpress Pro NLEs. Using footage from the live video feed, Einar was able to cut the spots on-set, as well as have the client review and approve the edit.
Visual effects were handled by Zoic (www.zoicstudios.com) in Culver City, CA.
