NEW YORK - Micah Scarpelli of Version 2 (www.version2.net) has been promoted to staff editor, having served as an assistant editor at the company since 2003.
Scarpelli began his career in Chicago, editing installations for art openings, retail clients and special events. He then worked as an assistant editor for numerous Chicago facilities, including Cutters, Red Car and Avenue Edit. He later moved to New York and freelanced prior to joining Version2.
Scarpelli was recognized with a BDA award for his work on Mercedes Benz’s 2005 auto show presentation. He also cut the car company’s Sleigh Ride spot, which saw heavy broadcast exposure last December. Other notable credits include editing Exit for the Museum of Sex.
