CUT + RUN'S NEW SOUND STUDIO COMPLETES FIRST PROJECT

NEW YORK - Offline editorial house Cut + Run/NY (www.cutandrun.tv) has completed the first project through its new sound and mixing division. The new, Nokia-sponsored film features David Bowie, who serves as a guide to innovative and compelling music stores around the globe.

Music stores such as Fat Beats in New York, Reckless in Chicago, Modern Sound in Rio, Hard Wax in Berlin and Mona Records in Tokyo will offer a personalized selection of new music in conjunction with Nokia. The promotional documentary film - created by director Wim Wenders - weaves short interviews from each store with Bowie's insights and commentary on the exploration and discovery of new music.

The project's sound design and mix was created by Cut + Run's Jun Mizumachi using Digidesign Pro Tools and Waves' Diamond bundle.

The short film was finished in HD and will be presented online, via DVD and at various cinema screenings.
