HDSTUDIOS POSTS HD 'MARINA' SPECIAL

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI - Grace & Wild's (www.gracewild.com) HDStudios division recently teamed up with Castorri & Company to produce Marina in America, an hour-long HD program featuring performances by Yugoslavian-born pianist/Bloomfield Hills resident Marina Arsenijevic. The program is airing on PBS's HD channel throughout the month of January.
The three-hour concert was captured in high definition at Meadow Brook Music Festival in Rochester, MI, and shows Arsenijevic performing original compositions and interpretations of classical favorites. Her Ethno-Classical style combines diverse ethnic rhythms with traditional classical themes and techniques.

The video of the concert was initially developed as a promotional DVD for Arsenijevic. HDStudios' senior editors Dan Fox and Pete O'Neill cut the program and editorial graphics & media coordinator Ken Mitchell provided graphics. Recently, PBS expressed interest in the concert, and it was edited into a one hour HD program.

Marina in America was shot multicamera using Sony HDW-F900 cameras. The audio was mixed in 5.1 surround sound by Al Hirschman of Alliance Audio.

Ron Castorri, principal of Castorri & Company, and Steven Wild, president, of Grace & Wild were executive producers on the project. Campbell-Ewald's Clark Attebury served as live concert director. HDStudios credits include senior engineer Michael Burke, engineer Doug Kaer and production technician Joe Corbeill.
