BOSTON - Media 100 HD version 10.1.3 is now available as a free download for users of the HD and SD nonlinear editor. Among the bug fixes in Version 10.1.3 are improved clip properties for the bin's list view setting. This provides users more flexibility when viewing bin clips. Improved audio and video sync on Acquire corrects a problem where output sync could be off by 2100 samples. Version 10.1.3 also now properly renders realtime effects for the established duration. In previous versions, not rendering the last frame of the transition could occasionally cause a visible jump.
Media 100 HD allows users to mix any supported codecs in the timeline without having to convert or render elements. The system's 10-bit uncompressed support includes simultaneous HD and SD output for program out and monitoring. The system also includes Boris Graffiti, a vector-based titling solution.
Version 10.1.3 is available as a free download (www.media100.com) to existing Version 10 and later customers. The suggested retail price for new purchases of Media 100 HD is $7,995. The software-only companion Media 100 sw is available through the BorisFX worldwide reseller channel or direct through BorisFX for $395.
