introduced a new, affordable HD color correction system with all the features
of its Pablo 2K and 4K systems. Pablo HD is designed to make high-resolution
color correction a creative and profitable proposition for every form of
mainstream post production. An HD-RGB model is also available for 4:4:4
HD/digital film applications.
Pablo is built on the foundation
of Quantel’s eQ and iQ, and features all of the tools needed to handle editing/conform,
effects and color correction. The system is controlled from Quantel’s ergonomic
color control panels, giving the colorist natural, tactile control of all color
parameters.
Pablo HD
includes TimeMagic technology, which takes the waiting out of rendering, along
with the Revolver secondary color corrector. The system’s ability to handle HD,
SD and mixed resolution jobs, thanks to Quantel’s Resolution Co-existence,
makes it a suitable upgrade path from SD-only linear color correction systems.
It is equally at home in today’s data-centric world.
