NUCLEO MAXIMIZES AFTER EFFECTS' PERFORMANCE

OTTAWA, CANADA - GridIron Software has introduced Nucleo for Adobe After Effects, a productivity tool designed to harness the power of new multi-core and multi-processor technologies. Nucleo for Adobe After Effects allows the After Effects application to run in parallel on new multi-core and multi-processor workstations, giving users performance gains of up to 300 percent.

The GridIron Nucleo approach to parallelism is specifically designed to harness the power of multiple processors or multiple cores in a single computer. This allows post pros to fully utilize the power of their workstations to create motion graphics and visual effects.

Priced at $149.95, GridIron Nucleo is now available for purchase and download at: www.gridironxfactor.com/purchase. The plug-in supports all versions of After Effects Version 6.5 and later on both Windows and Mac OS X.

"The Dual-Core AMD Opteron and AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processors have been designed specifically for intense software applications like those used in digital content creation," says Charlie Boswell, director of digital media and entertainment for AMD. "Nucleo is a valuable enhancement that helps you fully experience the outstanding power and performance of AMD dual-core processors when rendering and previewing with After Effects."

"Nucleo optimizes Adobe After Effects to take advantage of new processor technology," adds Simon Hayhurst, director of product management of digital video and audio for Adobe. "GridIron's Nucleo makes it extremely easy for the most demanding Adobe After Effects users to achieve impressive performance gains, which allows our users to invest more time in their creative efforts and improve their bottom line."
