MUTATO MUZIKA RECOGNIZED FOR 'SCOOBY' WORK

LOS ANGELES - The Mutato Muzika (www.mutato.com) scoring team has been nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition for their work on Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!, the number one show on Kids WB!. The nominees for children's programming were recently announced at the Kidscreen Summit in NYC and the winners are to be honored during the Daytime Emmy Award Ceremony at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood on June 15th.

In the hit CW Saturday morning show, sleuths Shaggy and his Great Dane Scooby-Doo are back on the trail solving mysteries with the help of new nano technology-infused Scooby Snacks. The new Scooby Snacks afford the canine hero special skills like the ability to fly. Shaggy and Scooby-Doo must keep the secret of the Scooby Snacks safe from those who want them for evil purposes.

"Creating great music for children has been one of my primary goals since I began composing for film and television," notes Mark Mothersbaugh, co-founder of Devo and composer for television shows such as Rugrats and Pee Wee's Playhouse. He also worked on the films The Royal Tenenbaums and Rushmore.
