COMPOSER PETER FISH JOINS HSR/NY

NEW YORK – Composer Peter Fish has joined HSR/NY as part of the audio post house’s expansion of original music and sound design services. The expansion includes the total renovation of Studio 16, which will serve as Fish’s new home.

Fish comes to HSR/NY with a wealth of experience in composing for film and television. He’s won six Emmy Awards, including three for his original scores for the soap opera All My Children. In addition, Fish has received ASCAP's 'Most Performed Themes' award three times, as well as a Grand Mercury Award for NBC's Today promo theme.

Fish’s work as a composer/arranger/producer spans feature films, top-ten singles and network television series. His film work includes scores for Bodysnatchers, A Tale of Two Pizzas, and the interactive film Ride For Your Life.

On the television side, Fish created the themes for The Rosie O'Donnell Show, A Current Affair (both the original version and 2005 version), Extra, Fox 5 News (NY), HBO's Real Sex and Cathouse, The Jane Whitney Show, The Judge Mathis Show, Curtis Court, CBS's Face the Nation, NBC's A Closer Look and MSNBC's The News With Brian Williams.

Commercial credits include projects for Panasonic, VW, Airwick, McDonald’s, Claritin, Gatorade and NASDAQ.

At HSR/NY, Fish will work alongside music director Justin Morris.
