615 ACQUIRES METRO MUSIC

NASHVILLE – Production music company 615 Music, here, has acquired New York’s Metro Music (www.metromusicinc.com). Metro Music was established by composer/producer Mitch Coodley and contains over 1,500 titles. The library will be marketed as its own brand and Coodley will continue to create music for it.

"I'm a composer and producer first and foremost. This deal will allow me to spend even more time on the creative side of producing the Metro catalog,” says Coodley, adding that 615 Music president/CEO Randy Wachtler “was looking to continue the Metro sound, and that's why this deal works so well for me. I know the library is in good hands and that 615 Music will serve us both well in terms of expanding our client base and keeping our long-term clients happy.”

With the addition of the Metro library, 615 Music (www.615music.com) now has 12 production libraries and well over 500 CDs worth of music available. The combined 615 Music and Metro Music libraries are 615 "Gold" and “Platinum” Collections; 615 Song Library; AMP; Kingsize NYC; Metro Music; Music Shop; Music Gallery; Promo Accelerator; Scoring Stage Film & TV; and Zen.
