PRISM SOUND ADDS THREE TO TEAM

CAMBRIDGE, UK - Prism Sound (www.prismsound.com), the manufacturer of professional audio recording and test equipment, has boosted its technical and sales teams with the addition of three new members.

Simon Woollard (pictured) joins the company from Saitek, a PC peripherals developer, where he served as senior acoustics engineer. He will serve as Prism Sound's sales engineer for its test and measurement division.

While at Saitek, Woollard helped develop PC peripherals and consumer audio products such as wireless headphones and loudspeaker systems. Prism Sound's dScope Series III audio analyzer was used for product research and development by enabling the optimizing of audio components and systems, measuring frequency responses, configuring codec settings and measuring power amplifier and loudspeaker drive unit distortion.

Chris Allen joins the company as recording hardware sales and support engineer. He spent the last five years studying audio and recording technology, completing Btec and HND music technology courses at Confetti Studios in Nottingham and studying for a BSc in audio recording and technology at De Montfort University, Leicester. He has also worked as a freelance audio production engineer in live and studio environments.

And Karen Hunt joins the sales and marketing team as sales and marketing administrator. She will be responsible for processing new orders across Prism Sound's recording and test and measurement divisions. She will also play an important role within the sales and marketing department, handling trade show exhibition support and Internet marketing.
