SACRED NOISE CREATES ORIGINAL TRACK FOR NORFOLK SOUTHERN

NEW YORK - Sacred Noise (www.sacrednoise.com) composer Ravi Krishnaswami recently collaborated with J. Walter Thompson, Atlanta's creative director Steve Kolander on an original track featured in a new commercial for Norfolk Southern railroad. Lonely Gallon shows a collection of gas cans that come together, hoping to spend some time with an old friend. Instead, the Norfolk Southern train passes on by, demonstrating how the railroad can reduce highway congestion and environment pollutants. The cans hang their spouts low in disappointment.

"You Don't Need Me" has all the soul of a country love song, and Norfolk Southern was so impressed with the track that they asked Krishnaswami to make a full-length version, which is available for download on the railroad's Website (www.norfolksouthern.com).

Anna Seterov at Consulate Ltd, NY, cut :30 and :15 versions of the spot. Effects were handled by Quiet Man in New York.
