SANTA MONICA, CA - Emoto (www.emotomusic.com), a Santa
Monica-based studio that produces music for advertising, television and film,
as well as serves as a music licensing and supervision resource, has signed
LA-rock band The Donnas to its roster of featured artists. The company is
representing the band for master licensing, the creation of new songs and
original music for advertising, TV and film.
Howard Paar, who heads licensing and music supervision for Emoto, has, in the
past, licensed songs by the band for the Angela Robinson films D.E.B.S. and Herbie: Fully Loaded. For the latter, the group created a high-energy
cover of the track "Roll on Down the Highway."
