NORTH AVENUE POST UPGRADES WITH TERANEX CONVERTER

ATLANTA - Creative editorial facility North Avenue Post (www.northavenuepost.com) has purchased a Teranex format converter that's allowing the studio to handle conversion to and from any HD standard - in both PAL and NTSC. North Avenue Post opened its doors back in January and features Avid DS Nitris with Dual Link, Apple Final Cut Pro HD, Digidesign Pro Tools|HD and two Avid Adrenaline suites with Avid LANShare networked storage.

Editor Andrew Satinoff founded the studio and serves as its president and senior HD editor/compositor.  He is joined at the facility by FCP HD editor/graphic designer Jonathan Hayes, FCP offline/online editor Kyle Tekiela, sound mixer/designer Shawn Conrad, assistant editor Kenneth Riggins and account executive Rachel Viers.

The studio has already used its new Teranex solution on a project for HGTV.
North Avenue downconverted a series of spots promoting Deserving Design with Vern Yip, which were edited entirely in HD.
