SPY POST OPENS EDITORIAL DIVISION
SAN FRANCISCO – Spy Post (www.spypost.com) continues to expand its
offerings with the launch of a new editorial division. The announcement
follows the VFX facility’s recent addition of a CG division, which
joined its established post and telecine operations. The new editorial
division features the talents of Edward Feldman and Nathan Petty, who
have extensive credits in commercials, music videos, short films and
interactive campaigns.
"Our goal is to create the best work possible through the integration
of our various disciplines," says Eric Hanson, partner/CEO of Spy Post.
"With our post and telecine services firmly established, and our newly
launched CG division up and running, we felt the time was right to
bring editorial into the mix. Ed and Nathan have tremendous talent and
infectious energy, and are a natural fit for our company. We've
designed a flexible environment with switchable rooms that can run the
Flint, Flame, Avid or Final Cut Pro. Our editorial division can work
with the Spy Post pipeline or independently on projects."
Feldman and Petty were most recently with editorial company Umlaut and decided to make the move together.
"We decided to pursue and propel our careers jointly," explains Petty.
"It's evident in our past collaborations just how well we complement
one another. As creative partners, we like to bounce ideas off of each
other, and have fun in the process."
