CRAWFORD COMPLETES BLU-RAY UPGRADES

ATLANTA - Crawford Post Production (www.crawfordpost.com) now has full Blu-ray Disc (BD) authoring capabilities for corporate, commercial and entertainment titles. The studio has built a new room in the heart of its HD suites, designed specifically for BD authoring. The room is outfitted with Sonic Scenarist and CineVision systems to support the next generation optical format, which provides high definition (HD) performance.

Crawford has been offering HD editorial, as well as 5.1surround sound services, for a number of years, and VP of post production Kathleen Fitch says offering Blu-ray authoring capabilities was a logical step in the studio's evolution. The Crawford team can provide basic services for discs that include auto-play and continuous looping, as well as create navigational features for chapters, subtitles and interactivity; manage multi-angled views; and design motion menus.

The studio has already worked on Blu-ray titles for Big Foot Productions, Inc.; Executive Visions Inc.; Cisco Systems, Inc.; Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.; and The Weather Channel.
