ECHOLAB WORKING WITH PIXEL POWER

LAS VEGAS - Billerica, MA’s Echolab (www.echolab.com), the manufacturer of video production switchers, is showing the result of its collaboration with Pixel Power on a solution that allows switcher operators to control graphics and clip playback from their switcher. The integrated solution includes Pixel Power's Clarity 300 character generator/still store and the Echolab Opera 3416 switcher.

The company is also showing its new Ovation MD (multi-definition) HD-ready switcher at NAB. The Ovation MD 4000 Series is designed for fast-paced live video productions and supports both SD and HD formats, helping to ease a studio’s transition to high definition broadcasting. The Ovation product line will provide full-function keyers on each M/E, downstream keyers, and flexible opportunities for partner product control.
