The “Integrated HD Workflow Solution" relies on key technology from Archion, Pulse Digital and Rimage, and provides full HD shared storage, disc authoring, duplication and printing facilities.
The system can be integrated into any nonlinear system - including releases from Avid, Apple, Adobe, Digidesign, Leitch and Matrox – and provides 100 percent RAID protection. Storage can also be expanded without having to double existing storage and without the need for additional software.
According to Media Distributors, the workflow results in significantly lower cost per gigabyte - as little as one-third the cost of traditional storage.
The manual process of authoring and transcoding is removed and QuickTime files are authored unassisted and automatically fed to a Rimage disc automation system for duplication.
