LAS VEGAS - Portugal’s MOG Solutions (www.mog-solutions.com), a developer of MXF tools, showed its new Toboggan Media Transfer solution at NAB. The tool is designed for moving MXF media into Avid environments, and allows users to ingest content from MXF cameras into Avid NLEs and workgroups through an automated process, eliminating the multiple steps that are required in editor-initiated workflows.
The company also showed an enhanced set of MXF, GXF and metadata management tools, ranging from software development kits, wrappers and unwrappers, to players and filters, all designed to make MXF easy to adopt and exploit. The company is now providing support for the MXF AVC Intra Format that was announced with Panasonic’s new P2 media HD camera.
