EYEON INTROS ROTO & MOTION GRAPHICS TOOLS

LAS VEGAS - Toronto's Eyeon Software (www.eyeonline.com) is showing two new products at this week's NAB: Rotation and Vision. Rotation is a suite of tools that complement the company's Fusion compositing application in film production pipelines. The tools are specifically defined for the exacting demands of rotoscoping, keying and retouching.

Large film facilities can use Rotation to create roto mattes, while retouched clean plates can be funneled to the senior compositing suites for finishing. The integrated scripting and bins system allows Rotation to plug in as part of the collaborative workflow.

Vision is node-based motion graphics tool that can be used with nonlinear editing applications. The tool offers an extensive scripting engine to automate repetitive tasks, such as station packaging and promos. Vision is resolution independent with 64 times the color fidelity of 10-bit video to easily handle multiple HD and SD standards and formats. Multiple plug-in APIs allow Vision to work with hundreds of third party manufacturers.

In related news Eyeon's product line-up is now supporting OpenFX, the open-source 3D modeling, animation and rendering suite.
