Famous Interactive (www.famousinteractive.com), a division of Culver City, CA-based The Famous Group, was called on by Ogilvy, LA to create the new Barbie microsite that launches the Mattel brand's 50th anniversary. Barbie Anthem is designed to engage girls and women of all ages with Barbie through a virtual exploration of her life. The studio shot 35mm at 6fps for the video segments and used Flash for animation. Unique tracks were used to represent each decade of Barbie history.
