Matrox (www.matrox.com) is showing an early version of its Matrox HD solution, which will include Adobe Premiere Pro to create an uncompressed 10-bit HD editing system. In a demo, the Matrox HD system is shown to support two layers of HD video with graphics, but company spokesperson Janet Matey notes that these feature could be expended prior to its release later this year.
The system will offer color correction, editing, titling and DVEs at resolutions up to 1080i and 1080p. Additionally, Matrox Digisuite file formats will be supported within the application. Expect more news on Matrox HD from the company around the IBC show.
