LAS VEGAS – At NAB 2006, Hollywood's MTI Film (www.mtifilm.com) unveiled the newly developed 2K version of its Control Dailies system. The company also debut Version 5.0 of its Correct DRS digital restoration system.
Control Dailies 2K provides for generation and resizing of DPX 2K files to HD and SD, and will feature Control Color, a fully integrated primary color corrector with a built-in still store, co-developed with Silicon Color, the creator of Final Touch.
Correct DRS V.5.0 features new tools as well as upgrades to its existing toolset. New features include the ability to record to DPX image files, three layer dirt detection, and the ability to save and re-use custom LUTs. Cut detection has been improved and optional dewarp and alpha filter plug-ins are also available.
