SONY DEBUTS CINESCORE SOUNDTRACK CREATION TOOL

LAS VEGAS – Video pros looking to easily add custom soundtracks to their productions might want to check out Sony Media Software’s Cinescore. The new software application automatically generates custom soundtracks using royalty-free elements from 20 different musical genres.

Users select a basic theme and then Cinescore’s music generation engine creates music that can be altered to fit the desired length. Users have control over the track’s time and tempo, as well as its repetition, and can even bring levels down to accommodate voiceover tracks.

Features include volume and pan envelopes, CD audio extraction, unlimited redo/undo, 16-bit/44.1kHz quality, 300 effects and transitions and audio time stretching capabilities. The application is priced at $249.95
