CELCO SHOWS 4K FILM RECORDER

LAS VEGAS – At NAB, Celco (www.celco.com) introduced the Fury 4K, the company’s fastest, highest resolution film recorder to date. The system features dramatic improvements in speed for full range, 10-bit log, 4K imagery onto Kodak 2242 color intermediate negative stock.

Fury 4K uses the company’s new electro-magnetic beam control system to produce sharper 4K images. The system is capable of outputting to virtually any type of film stock, including color and black & white intermediate and camera negative stocks. The system is driven by Celco’s new Linux-based host operating system. The FilmOut Pro graphical user interface software controls the film recorder and includes a variety of image processing and viewing tools. FilmOut Pro allows user to define aspect ratios and formats, and also provides cropping, offset and resizing tools.
