IMAGICA SHOWING NEW FILM SCANNER & RECORDER

LAS VEGAS – Tokyo’s Imagica Corp. (www.imagica.com), with offices in Los Angeles, is showing two new products at this year’s NAB show in Las Vegas. The company’s Imager HSX is its newest digital film scanner, offering the ability to scans 35mm film to 4K or 2K. The scanner includes a newly-developed CMOS area sensor/camera and LED illumination light source, and runs at the speed of one second per frame for 4K and three frames per second for 2K.

Imagica is also showing the Imager HSR, its high-speed film recorder, which performs at a speed of three frames per second in 2K motion picture data to Kodak 5242 intermediate film for digital interpositive or internegative films.
