BOSTON – San Jose, CA’s Reallusion (www.reallusion.com) is
at the 2006 SIGGRAPH show with Version 4.5 of its CrazyTalk facial engine. The
software tool allows artists to easily convert any 2D image into an animated
face and automatically sync that character’s mouth movements with imported
dialogue tracks.
Version 4.5 adds more animated content and facial expression
presets for virtual actors, animation layers for adding graphics and special
effects with transitions. The tool works seamlessly with Reallusion’s iClone
application, allowing material created for pre-viz in CrazyTalk to be migrated
along the production pipeline.
Reallusion is also showing Version 1.5 of its iClone Studio,
an animation application designed for 3D character creation, facial animation
and scene production. IClone Studio 1.5 is an easy-to-use application that
allows users to produce quality Machinima-style films. The tool also allows for
easy management of custom-created Maya and 3DS Max assets within the
application.
