BOSTON – Manchester,
MO’s Wondertouch LLC (www.wondertouch.com), a software developer specializing
in particle effects, is demonstrating its ParticleIllusion software line at
SIGGRAPH. The tool is available to both Windows and Mac OS X users.
Earlier this year, the company introduced the new
Professional Emitters collection for ParticleIllusion 3.0, featuring 180
emitters arranged into themed libraries that include explosions, auroras,
breaking glass, motion graphics, artistic backgrounds, text and abstract effects.
The Pro Emitters were developed by artists Tom Granberg, Sasha Milica and
Phalkunabba Rath.
Recently, ParticleIllusion has been used in the production
of the feature film Superman Returns,
the HBO documentary Too Hot Not to Handle: A Global Warming Primer, and the upcoming documentary, Egyptian
Book of the Dead, scheduled to air on the
History Channel this Fall.
