SAN DIEGO - Massive Software (www.massivesoftware.com),
developer of the Artificial Intelligence-driven animation system Massive, is
hosting a number of guest presenters at this year's SIGGRAPH show.
Phil Hartmann, an independent Massive specialist, will
demonstrate Hybrid Stunt Agents at the Massive booth on Tuesday at 12:30pm.
Mark Thielen, a Massive specialist with Reel FX, will present a behind-the-scenes
look at the company's work on a Gatorade project and The Ant Bully on Tuesday at 2:00pm.
On Wednesday at 11:30am, Gil Baron, a CG supervisor with
Method, will demonstrate Massive's use for commercial VFX. Also on Wednesday,
Mark Welser, a Massive supervisor at Rhythm & Hues, will highlight the
facility's work on the feature Evan Almighty. The presentation will take place at 2:00pm.
And wrapping up the list of guest presenters is Jordi Bares,
a joint-head of CG at The Mill, who will demo Massive's use in advertising.
Bares will present at 3:30pm.
