SAN DIEGO - E Frontier (www.e-frontier.com)
is showing Poser Pro at SIGGRAPH, a high-end addition to its Poser character
animation product line. The release should be available by October and offers
the features and functionality of Poser 7 along with professional level
application integration, a 64-bit render engine and network rendering support.
Poser Pro supports the COLLADA exchange format allowing
users to host Poser scenes in apps such as Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, Maya and
LightWave. There is also increased support for Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended and
the ability to export HDR imagery.
In addition, N-Sided will provide "Quidam for Poser" based
on their Quidam character creation software. Quidam features the ability to
import and export Poser character files, and will be bundled exclusively with
Poser Pro.
