Issue: IBC 2008 - Day 3

AMSTERDAM – Boston-based Noise Industries (, a developer of VFX tools, is showing new FxFactory-powered plug-ins at the IBC 2008 conference. The new FxFactory 2.0.4 release offers native integration with Adobe After Effects CS3 and Apple’s Final Cut Studio and Final Cut Express applications.

FxFactory includes more than 300 visual effects plug-ins that are optimized for realtime performance on the Mac platform. The new multi-host support in a single product feature allows customers to use FxFactory plug-ins with their preferred Mac-based editing and compositing applications. Customers will not be charged for every host separately.

Also on display is the recently released partner FxPackMotype, a 2D/3D text animation plug-in for Adobe and Apple editors. FxPacks are developed by Noise Industries and its partners using the
Noise Industries FxFactory Pro plug-in manager, which provides designers with a user-friendly development tool for creating additional effects plug-in packages for Final Cut Studio and Final Cut Express. Partners include Core Melt, DVShade, Futurismo, Idustrial Revolution, Sugarfx and Yanobox.
