MAX T-PUT SHOWS SERVER-BASED EDITING SOLUTION

AMSTERDAM – Maximum Throughout (www.max-t.com) showed off MAXedit at IBC, a server-based editing software solution for the broadcast and post-production markets. With MAXedit, studios can rapidly and cost-effectively set up a multi-user editing environment that’s suited for news production, specialty programming, digital dailies, corporate and institutional productions, and offline editing.

Multiple users can access MAXedit by simply launching it from a Web browser. Users on a network can view, edit and render compressed and uncompressed SD and HD content, without using specialized software and hardware. They just need to log on to the MAXedit application server and start editing. Intense editing operations are processed on the MAXedit server.

The scalable, multi-seat HD/SD editing solution allows users to edit multiple formats, natively in realtime. Maximum Throughput plans to release MAXedit in the Fall.
