DUIKER BRINGS COLOR SYMMETRY 1.5 TO NAB

LAS VEGAS - Duiker Research, the San Francisco-based creator of the Color Symmetry (www.colorsymmetry.com) plug-in suite, has introduced Color Symmetry V.1.5 with Universal Look Authoring. Color Symmetry emulates film looks and handles color consistently within animation, graphics, effects and post packages.

Universal Look Authoring are two nodes that allow custom looks to be authored within one Color Symmetry-supported app and then used within any other supported application. The look can be developed by a director or DP in a Color Symmetry-supported application, such as Photoshop.

Color Symmetry's Look Up Table (LUT) support has been expanded to include other LUT formats, such as LUTs for Flame, LUTher and Fusion, as well as ICC profiles. Tools are also available to convert between and among various formats.
