LOS ANGELES - Video-based training specialist Digital-Tutors (www.digitaltutors.com) has 24 workstations set up at SIGGRAPH, allowing attendees to test the company's entire library of training tools. Visitors to the Digital-Tutors booth can check out training solutions for software titles such as Maya, XSI, ZBrush, Houdini, Modo, XNA, Mudbox, RenderMan for Maya, Syflex, RealFlow, Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver.

The company is also sponsoring events at the show, such as FJORG!, The Computer Animation Festival, and The Guerilla Studio, and is presenting training sessions at several partner booths.

Digital-Tutors will be at Pixar Animation Studios' booth (#947) each day at 11:00am, presenting "Introduction to RenderMan for Maya 2.0," an artist-friendly approach to learning and fully understanding the powerful features and capabilities of RenderMan for Maya.

The company will also be presenting a learning session at Eyeon's booth (#801) on compositing with Fusion 5, a full-featured, node-based compositing system.

And Softimage, which recently introduced a new version of its XSI animation application, will bundle Digital Tutors' training for XSI 7 with their software release.

To generate further excitement, Digital-Tutors is giving away hundreds of SIGGRAPH shirts and over $20,000 in prizes from sponsors such as Pixar, Softimage, Next Limit, Pixologic, Luxology, and Side Effects Software at the show. The first 20 attendees wearing their t-shirt and present at Digital-Tutors' booth at 10:00am each day will win special prizes from the sponsors.
